The future looks mobile only

I genuinely love my laptop. I can run multiple applications at once, have a big screen to play with, and generally have a much better productivity experience.

But with Vera tying up both my time and my one arm (if not a partial second arm), I've found myself doing more and more work on mobile. Things like:

  • typing on one hand using a Swift keyboard
  • reading docs using Google sheets
  • making notes on Evernote
  • buying nappies off the Amazon
  • checking more of my utility and banking statements off apps

I don't think I'll ever convert fully to running everything off mobile. But with Vera I may have to at an increasing rate until she gets to be more independent.
