Bangkok learnings

Just rolled into Ho Chi Minh city a few hours ago from Bangkok. Bought a Mobifone 3G SIM card in the airport and took an Uber to Work Cafe Saigon. Our guide, friend David Pham, has been incredibly kind to help with all things logistics.

A few thoughts looking back to BKK:

  • internet infrastructure is cheap: 4G access was $6 USD for 2 GB
  • there is an international, outward looking sense of urgency
  • over 3000 participants at Techsauce. Most were Thai people
  • startup cost is super cheap. I didn't really investigate coworking costs, but I assume from food prices, travel, and rental properties, to start a business is relatively low cost
