Yesterday was a slow day. Not sure why it was slow - maybe the hot weather, the not so good run, or the very sugary cereal that I devoured 3 bowls of. Things just weren't clicking.
This morning I'm recalibrating. I'm giving myself a few tasks that I need to do for the day. If I accomplish then, then a small celebration at the very end of the day. I'm making the threshold very very low to make sure I win for the day.
It's similar to what I read yesterday on creating positive behaviors for kids. Not reinforcing or thinking about the negative behaviors, but rather, play acting and reminding what the positive behaviors should be.
