I’m currently in the Good AI conference in Prague, where I was invited to talk about investing in AI and how to develop a beneficial race for AI development.
It’s nice to be surrounded by people that are a ton smarter. From academic researchers to cognitive psychologists, policy makers to international relations, this conference provides a comprehensive view of the field of AI and its impact.
This is the type of conference I like, where one topic is analyzed along multiple angles. One metric I use to evaluate a good conference is whether I learn one thing from each talk; this conference is currently doing well.
The GoodAI team has done a solid job of bringing in great speakers and stimulating interesting conversations. It’s not only a great sign that the team can bring in great speakers, it also speaks to the intellectual capacity of the team to develop an agenda that is this intellectually rich.
