Foxhole was always a reference to my military days. i wanted to bring a perspective of what was happening on the ground, with the teams and characters i was meeting on a daily basis, and the conversations that would ensue.
but i've come to the realization that this blog has morphed into something else. there's been generally four categories of posts:
posts come as a result of [external conversations](http://www.taklo.co/why-london-is-the-best-city-in-the-world/) or experiences. around 60% of the time.
posts come from what i've been reading (like [Blockbusters](http://www.taklo.co/are-you-not-entertained-the-parallel-between-blockbusters-and-startups/)) or watching. circa 5% of the time.
posts are a result of a [mini-summary for the day](http://www.taklo.co/a-three-out-of-three-day/), a la Seth Godin style. around 20% of the time.
posts are [analytical, research-intense studies](http://www.taklo.co/early-stage-fundraising-european-countries/). circa 5% of the time.
in other words, this blog has departed from its original purpose of capturing thoughts on external conversations and experiences, and more about a reflection of my own world-view.
so why Operator?
in the military, an operator is a term given to those that get things done under extraordinary circumstances.
operator in the entrepreneurial world is someone who develops businesses
operator more accurately reflected who i am and my philosophies in life
so here goes the name change. onwards to more posts.
